Entity Formation

Our attorneys can assist clients in selecting and creating appropriate legal entities for the ownership, management, and development of real estate assets. Together with members of the Firm’s Tax Section, attorneys in the Real Estate Practice Group can provide advice concerning the tax advantages of certain entities for certain types of projects.

Financing & Leasing

Our attorneys are skilled in the preparation and negotiation of leases (representing either landlords or tenants) for all types of real property projects including shopping centers, office buildings, resort or recreational properties, residences, and agricultural properties.

Transactional and Development

Our firm can handle both large and small real estate financing matters and has represented lenders’ and borrowers’ interests in these matters. We routinely handle documentation and negotiation of real estate loans including land development loans, construction loans, interim financing, and permanent financing for real estate projects. We also specialize in low-income and affordable housing financing as well as USDA 538 guaranty and subsidy transactions for rural development of multifamily housing.
